The lastest act to come out of the Ala Jazz family, Mekedo Airono, is certainly a spur of the moment project. He is spur of the moment in that he does not bother with the whole refining process that many hugely commercialized artists do go through. He avoids this arduous process to ensure the continuity of his work, and a large variety of emotion and sound.

Producer Omar Alejandro has always been drawn to improvization and spontinaeity, and this is evident in both of Mekedo Airono's EPs, his self titled EP and the Vihrea Vinegar EP. Both EPs are intended to be both jarring and ominous, as if the listener is trapped in a noisy and uncomfortable prison.

Mekedo sums up his intentions and feeling of the project:"Mekedo's music is a challange to the ears and it's not easy to hear it. The music is not a pleasure... it's not even an experiment. I don't try to look for anything; I just want to show something completely diferent..."

He certainly wants to avoid comparisons to other artists as that could warp the listeners interpretations of Airono's sound, therefore destroying the intended experience. As unpredictable as his music, his future project are unknown and he chooses to remain a spontaneous artist no matter the criticism he faces.
