Hirokazu "Hip" Tanaka (Japanese: 田中宏和 but usually credited in hiragana only) is a Japanese composer and musician, born on December 13, 1957, best known for creating or co-creating various video games by Nintendo. He was the composer of much the opening theme and ending theme songs used in the Pokémon anime from 1997 to 2019, and he was also the president of Creatures, Inc. until April 2023.

Among the many game soundtracks he composed, the most well known include the music of the Metroid series, the EarthBound series, Mario Bros., Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light, Animal Crossing, the Kirby series, Super Mario Land, Famicom Wars, Dr. Mario, Donkey Kong, Balloon Fight, Kid Icarus, Wrecking Crew, and Gyromite. In addition, he also was instrumental in developing the Game Boy Camera and the Game Boy Printer.

It features various demo tapes, recordings and unreleased prototype songs from various projects Tanaka was involved in, including the Pokémon anime.
