At the star-studded New York premiere of Alwyn’s latest film, the Yorgos Lanthimos oddity Kinds of Kindness, Alwyn went into his friendship with co-star Emma Stone, who has a nearly two-decade best friendship with the pop giant and Alwyn’s ex. In a previous interview, Stone described him as “one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet,” a sentiment Alwyn repeated at June 20’s Museum of Modern Art fête. “Well, I would say [that] back, yeah,” he told ET. He had only good things to say about his two-time co-star, who previously acted alongside Alwyn for Lanthimos’s The Favourite. “I’m so lucky to be close to her. She’s just the best,” Alwyn shared. “She’s obviously wildly talented, and she’s just the best.” Stone, the former couple’s Switzerland.
