Serena Williams Had the Sweetest Reaction to Her Baby's Gender Reveal

Publish date: 2024-10-03

Serena Williams is having another girl!

The tennis pro had a gender reveal party to find out her baby’s sex and documented the entire experience in a YouTube video shared on her channel.

When it came time, the word girl lit up the sky in pink lights, with the help of several drones. Williams and husband Alexis Ohanian celebrated the happy news with daughter Olympia by their side.

The four-time Olympic gold medalist shared photos from the family bash on Instagram today. In one, she poses happily with her husband, and in another, five-year-old Olympia joins them. The family stands in a garden in front of a colorful sign that reads: “Olympia’s Splash Village.”

Williams wears a white T-shirt with folded short sleeves, revealing her growing baby bump. With it, she wears a striped pink-and-white ribbed miniskirt and white sneakers.

Ohanian, meanwhile, looks casual in a black X-Men graphic tank, black shorts, black Crocs, and a black baseball hat.

Olympia matched her mom in a light pink dress with little pom-poms at the collar, layered over a blue tie-dye long-sleeved top. The beads in her hair are also blue and pink—potentially in honor of the gender reveal.

In another post, Williams poses solo in her white-and-pink maternity look in front of a colorful balloon bridge with a sign that reads: “Our Next Great Adventure.” She is holding her baby bump, smiling, and cheering.

Williams announced her second pregnancy at this year’s Met Gala, in May. She had previously opened up about wanting to expand her family in an emotional essay announcing her retirement from professional tennis last year.
