Career

Jackson began her career in the spotlight in 1993 when she began appearing in episodes of various television series. She appeared in episodes of "Roc," "Tall Hopes," and "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper." She also briefly appeared in the film, "CB4." She continued landing television roles in 1994, appearing in episodes of "Getting By," "South Central," "On Our Own," "Me and the Boys," and "My So-Called Life." In 1995, she had roles in "Minor Adjustments," "The Parent 'Hood," and again appeared in "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper."

In 1996, she landed a role in the television film, "Grand Avenue," and also an episode of "The Steve Harvey Show." She also caught her big break that year by landing one of the main roles in the television series, "Moesha."
